Another Dr. Appointment- 18 weeks

Today was a very short visit. However, I did get to meet one of the 4 doctors in the practice for the first time. She seems very nice. I got to hear the heart beat again- still around 150 bpm; however, Baby Painter was moving because she lost him/her a few times- very active- which I think is great. Then, I was sent to the lab again for some more blood testing- just for screening of some potential issues down the road- very routine.

The next appointment, in 4 weeks, will be the BIG one. This is the appointment that they do an ultrasound and measure every inch of the baby along with hopefully filling us in as to if Baby Painter is a girl or boy. They actually provide you with a video (even though on a VHS tape- very antiquated) of the ultrasound along with the typical pictures.
