Finished Hanging Exhaust; Prop Governor
Ahh...back home and now I can work on the RV. I finished hanging the exhaust. I have no doubt that I will end up adjusting it slightly while fitting the cowling. You can also see the heat muff that I installed over on the other side. Nevermind all the papers on the floor. I had the fan running and it blows everything everywhere.
Next I installed the prop governer studs on the pad. I'm not sure that this will work for me. I think that it will. I need to make sure that the governor is oriented the correct direction. It seems to be. You can't orient the governor any other way.
Here's the bracket that came with my FWF kit. My drawings show a bracket that attaches to the screws on the lever end of the governor. This bracket slides over the studs in the pad. Hmm...I don't think this is going to work for me. If I orient it one way, it points the control cable above the governor. If I orient it the other way it will interfere with the cabin heat selector box. Need to get on VAF forums and ask, I guess.
