Continuing with the canopy, I've got the fit pretty good except for the sides. The sides bow out a little, which I understand is normal. In fact, the plans say you need to pull them into the side of the canopy frame. The problem is where the canopy frame transitions from the front to around the side rails. In order to ge tthe fit just right, I have to really pre-load the canopy sides. I don't think that's a good idea since that will almost guarantee the canopy cracking in the future.
This is the same as the picture above, but I have edited it with a line where I am thinking of trimming the canopy some more. Hmm....it's not exactly trivial to imagine what happens to this three-dimensional, flexible piece of plexi when it's cut.
I'm going to Puerto Rico for work this Sunday (yeah, I know -- tough life) so work is going to be sparse for a little while.
