Ready to Rivet Center Bottom Skin
This past Friday Jaime and I had to go to a wedding of a really good college friend. The wedding was very interesting...it was a Mexican/Catholic wedding. We don't know too many Catholics here in the Bible Belt (even though there's a Catholic church in every town) so the wedding was interesting on many fronts. Anyway...it was a good time had by all...complete with a Mariachi band and a ten (10) hour-long reception!
Today after Church I went out and got everything on the center fuse ready to rivet. I primed the seat ribs, installed the bolts for the ribs that go through the spar doubler and clecoed on the skin. I also remembered the seat belt anchors that I forget to install..and started installing them. I got one of them in but decided I'll just wait until this thing is upgright...there's no need do do them before riveting....in fact...the bolts will get in the way of the bucking bar. Tomorrow I have orchestra but maybe I'll get home from work early and Jaime can help me start busting out these rivets.
