Clecoed Aft Fuse For Final Assembly
Today I finished riveted the 711 and 712 bulkheads to the aft skin, then I clecoed the aft fuse together. This took quite a while. I would say an hour or so of clecoing.
Here's a view from the back.
Then I flipped the aft fuse over. This was a little tricky doing it myself but it's obviously doable. The levels are there to make sure the thing is sitting straight...it's dead-on.
Here's a view of the inside...where I'll likely be sticking my head for the next few sessions while this gets riveted.
I do have a little wrinkle in the skin between the 707 and 708 bulkheads....but..
When I apply a little pressure on the tail, the wrinkle goes away...I'll probably just end up weighting the tail down or either finding a way to prop up the middle before riveting.
