Cleaned Garage (yipee); Finished Right Wing Access Plates
After starting to work on the flaps today and deciding that I couldn't find *any* of the tools I needed, I decided it was past time to cleanup the place...so that's what I did. I'm also playing around with a couple of configurations, trying to figure out if there's any way I can work on the fuselage while being able to move everything over at night so that I can get Jaime's car in the garage. Some builders have said they did it with a two car garage..but boy...I really don't see how!
And here's where I put the wings.
I did decide that I need do get *something* done on the airplane tonight, so I went ahead and mounted the platenuts for the outboard-most access hole on the right wing...and I screwed the plate on. It'll have to come back off to rig the ailerons...but at least I got the platenuts in!
I called Van's today and found out that they just shipped my fuselage yesterday. I used the tracking number they gave me and ABF is saying that delivery is tentative for next Tuesday. For some reason this time it's going to a distribution center that's south of the city, which makes it a little less practical for me to pick it up since I absolutely loathe going inside the interstate 285 loop.
