Riveted Outboard Right Tank Rib
Today I managed to get out and rivet in the outboard right tank rib. Very easy to do, since these rivets are squeezed. It was my first experience squeezing rivets with tank sealant. Just as anticipated, it was messy stuff.
And here's another shot of the outboard riv with the selant dabbed over the rivet heads. Well, the plans tell you to dab....but the selant tends to be sort of stringy (like pizza cheese) so it's hard to just get a little selant on the rivet head without it going everywhere. Oh well..not a big deal here. I may end up needing to order more sealant for the left tank...we'll see.
I'm going to try to sucker someone into helping me out this weekend on the tanks. We'll see.
