Drilled Replacement Rib; Drilled Some Holes
Tonight when I got home I took out my replacement inboard leading edge rib (sorry, don't remember the part # right now) and redrilled it to the leading edge tank and joint plate.
Here's the original rib. You can easily see here how I completely screwed up the original rib. I am told that it is perfectly acceptable to simply reinforce the rib flange on the inside, but why bother and worry about it when it's just a $14.00 part?
I also discovered that I had not yet drilled out the right wing leading edge, so I did that.
Then I started looking at the tank instructions and how to drill the tank attach Z-brackets. I've read where people have had problems with the plans here so I'm going to make sure that I do it in the easiest possible way. I'm dog tired and need some sleep. It's been super busy around here with the day job, work, etc.
